Embassy of The Kingdom
The Church is not a museum of the past, but the Embassy of the Kingdom in the midst of the diaspora. We do not exist to preserve old heritage, but so that Christ may be exalted and the Gospel released through the life of a people He has redeemed.
Identity Declaration
Over the past half-century, our diaspora community has labored to preserve the fragments of our homeland. Yet, in the years ahead, a deeper question demands an answer: Do we exist to preserve the Vietnamese language, or to proclaim the Word through the Vietnamese soul—a soul re-created by Christ?
We abandon the safety of cultural fortresses to embark on a reformation of the soul. For the church is not a museum of the past, but the Embassy of the Kingdom in the midst of the diaspora. Here, heritage is no longer a chain of the past but has become a bridge leading the scattered from every path back to the foot of the Cross of Jesus Christ. Nissi is not an ethnic oasis; we are the Body of Christ, using the Vietnamese voice and soul as a simple earthen vessel to manifest the eternal Treasure—Jesus Christ—to a world longing for hope.
We do not preserve a monument; we are called to release a living Gospel. Our essence does not lie in ethnic origin, but in the One who died and rose again. He is our Life, our Citizenship, and the sole purpose of all we do. He is the center, the head, and the sovereign Ruler of this Embassy.
Therefore, every activity, every word, and every fellowship at Nissi is oriented toward a single purpose: to exalt the glory of Christ. Whether through the Vietnamese tongue or any other language, may the Lord Jesus be made manifest through the life of a people He has redeemed—ambassadors of Heaven reconciling the world to God.
Nissi is where we Behold Christ, and then Live the Gospel. Glory be to Him forever. Amen.

And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

A Challenge to the Status Quo

Serving the Word, Not Preserving Culture
We renounce the worship of culture as an end in itself. Language and culture are not relics to be cherished, but a simple earthen vessel under the reign of Christ. In serving the Gospel, Vietnamese identity is not lost but sanctified and perfected in grace. We do not preserve the past; we consecrate it to the Kingdom, so that Christ may be exalted through the very things He has given us.

Ontological Unity in the Third Space
Nissi does not build a bridge to connect two distant generations; we open a Kingdom Embassy to reunite them as a New Creation in Christ. Here, the traditions of the fathers and the passion of the young no longer conflict but are woven into an Incarnational reality under the reign of Christ. The past ceases to be a burden; the future ceases to be rebellion—all converge in Him, the One who makes all things one.

The Sovereign Authority of the Embassy
We are present not as cultural refugees longing for the past, but as Ambassadors of Heaven carrying the authority of the Kingdom into the heart of this city. Nissi exists entirely for the benefit of the diaspora community, but acts with the ontological weight of Kingdom citizens. We do not merely survive; we represent the King of kings, Christ—the One who rules over history and the future.
