The Mission of the Ambassador
At Nissi Church, we affirm that Jesus Christ is the absolute center of all reality. He is the Word made flesh, entering human history to bring us home.
We are neither a mere religious organization nor a survivalist immigrant enclave; we are a territory of His grace—a sacred space where the Vietnamese soul is redeemed and the Western context is transformed by the singular beauty of the Savior.
The Kingdom Embassy is undergoing a profound reformation of the soul, intentionally shedding the survivalist immigrant mindset to fully embrace our missional gospel identity. This Embassy does not exist for itself, but to turn our fragile jars of clay into vessels that manifest the glory of the King.

The Two Spiritual Tracks
At Nissi, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Heaven, the Christian life is not made up of disconnected religious efforts. It flows as one unified movement along two essential pathways:
The vertical axis of the cross demands stillness and surrender. Here, the sharp sword of God's Word pierces our self-righteousness, and the holy fire of worship burns away our distractions. Our definitive purpose is to behold the glory of Christ, allowing His redemptive presence to purify and transform us from the inside out.
The horizontal axis of the cross extends our sending into the world as the direct outcome of beholding Christ. As jars of clay, the indwelling Treasure alone defines our worth and mission. Sustained by His absolute sovereignty, we live as an Embassy of the Kingdom within the diaspora, declaring that the cross reorders every sphere of life and witnessing that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.

A 32-year Covenant Journey
Our history stands as an objective monument to the faithfulness of the Sovereign King, tracking intentional seasons of reform and ecclesial repositioning to magnify His glory.
1994
The sovereign initiation
The journey commenced as God uniquely set apart a house-church to minister to a displaced diaspora. Amidst the severe economic and psychological trials of early settlement, His providential grace sustained us, converting a fragile gathering into a spiritual sanctuary for uprooted souls.
2015
Covenantal unity and structural transition
Under the active governance of the Holy Spirit, we integrated with the host congregation to form MCC. This served as a season of theological expansion, wherein we beheld the transcendent glory of Christ across linguistic and cultural boundaries, preparing the body for a deeper missional mandate.
2026
Ecclesial reformation and the Kingdom Embassy
Standing at the threshold of 2026, we obey the divine summons toward a profound reformation of the soul. We consciously discard the anxious, survivalist immigrant mindset to fully assume our ontological identity as an Embassy of the Kingdom. Our definitive focus is a return to the original design: a covenant community beholding Jesus Christ as our exclusive source of life, heralding His sovereign reign to the ends of the earth.
From Grace to Glory
Our history is determined neither by geopolitical displacement nor terrestrial borders, but by the absolute faithfulness of the Sovereign King. Sustained by His hand through every storm, He now summons us into a historic season of reformation.

Sovereign past: Covenantal continuity
We honor our monocultural origin as the providential seedbed of this community. Within fragile earthen vessels, God preserved His unadulterated Word during the isolation of early exile. These historical roots are neither abandoned nor merely sentimentalized; they constitute the vital foundation destined for structural redemption.

Structural present: The Incarnational Third Space
We reject both the stagnant isolation of cultural enclaves and the structural fragmentation of a divided bilingual pragmatism. The cross establishes an Incarnational Third Space—a profound synthesis where our distinct cultural roots and contemporary contexts are redeemed, sanctified, and reconstituted on the new grammar of the cross into a single, unified territory of grace.

Missional future: The language of the cross
We anticipate an eschatological space where our deep-seated anthropocentric biases—indigenous moralisms and expressive individualism—are dissolved through corporate worship and service. Echoing the miracle of Pentecost, the language of the cross structurally fuses and elevates diverse heritages; though speaking in distinct native tongues, we understand one another perfectly as we unifiedly declare the glory of God.
What We Believe
Our doctrine anchors our identity. We hold to biblical authority, salvation by grace, and a lived community of discipleship.
We believe the Holy Scriptures to be the inerrant Word of God, the sole and sufficient revelation for salvation. We submit to the sovereignty of the Word as the final arbiter of faith. It is the divine instrument through which the Holy Spirit convicts and transforms the soul.
